Part of Dollification or Power Exchange dynamics. Refers to a person who enjoys creating, dressing, grooming and playing with a human doll. Typically this role is Top type but that's not always the case and some dollmakers can be actually very submissive. Not all Dollmaker/doll dynamics are power dynamic driven, but when they are the Dollmaker will take the typical role of a Dominant.

A Dollmaker enjoys physically handling their doll as if they were living dolls; they might cut their hair, dress them up, dress them down, play with them. Dollmakers derive both sexual pleasure and creative fulfillment from the connection they make with their partner through caring for them, creating their appearances, and placing them into scenes they imagine.

Something important to clarify is that dollification is NOT inherently sexual in its nature, it is a sensualist power play with some S/m elements, but as always, it depends on the people who are in the dynamic. Sometimes Dolls can be the Dominant player instead, instructing their makers to use their artistic skills to bring them to perfection.
