Also referred as Anal Sex.

Refers to any sexual activity involving stimulation or penetration of the anus. It is commonly considered that only penis-anus penetration is anal sex, this idea is especially prevalent outside of the kink community, however, activities such as fingering, rimming and insertions of toys all are different forms of anal sex, hence, are anal play.

There is a sub-community within the kink community called Anal Only Life [AOL]. The maximum goal of this community is to limit their sexual life to the practice of anal sex, since it is considered a superior form of sex compared to penis-vagina penetration. Community members tend to be mostly cisgender men.

The practice of any anal activity carries physical health risks for the bottom part since the lining of the anus is very tender and it can tear easily. Anal Training is a huge part of anal players practices. Anal activities aren’t limited by gender. sexualities nor by dynamic; anal play can be part of non-kinky sexual relations. Whatever the case, anal play MUST be a consensual activity that all participants are comfortable with exploring. It needs to be clarified that any kind of anal activity requires tons of lubricants given the fact that the anus DOES NOT produce its own natural lubrication. It is also relevant to take into account the risks associated with anal practices.

Anal play may include activities such as: anal penetration [including pegging], anal fingering, use of anal toys [straps, butt plugs, anal wands, anal beads], anilingus [rimming], anal fisting, enemas.
